Frank A. Zimmerman, CPA

Frank A. Zimmerman is president of Zimmerman & Associates, P.C. which he founded in May, 1974.  He specializes in all aspects of taxation in the individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary and retirement sectors along with broad-based consulting services.  As a trusted advisor he works with company owners and executives to coordinate and analyze tax planning services with the emphasis on the minimization of corporate and individual income taxes.

Frank earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University in 1971.  He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in the State of Georgia.  He also holds a Series 7 securities license, a variable annuity license as well as a life and accident insurance license.  Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Georgia Society of Public Accountants and The National Association of Tax Professionals. 

Frank is married with two children and lives in Marietta, Georgia.  He enjoys sports of all types and exercises daily.  He is currently coaching a girls U-16 Select soccer team.

Susan K. Miller, CPA

Susan has more than 25 years of public accounting experience and has been a manager at Zimmerman & Associates since 1991.  Her areas of expertise include financial reporting for small businesses and not-for-profit organizations and tax preparation for corporations.  She is very experienced with QuickBooks and assists a number of our clients with their bookkeeping and accounting needs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. 

Susan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Harding University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia.  She is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and serves on finance committee at Northlake church of Christ.  Susan has served as treasurer for several local not-for-profit organizations.

Julie C. Zimmerman, Accountant

Julie has been serving as a manager with the firm since 1985.  She specializes in payroll and payroll tax preparation and compliance, monthly or quarterly bookkeeping assistance, and individual tax planning and return preparation. 

Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Alabama.  She is currently serving as treasurer for the Pope High School soccer team and has offered accounting services to local youth organizations for several years.

Ruth Johnson, Administrative Assistant

Ruth is the newest member of our team.  She joined Zimmerman & Associates in 2009.  Ruth serves as office manager and client liaison.  She assists with tax return assembly, website maintenance and other administrative duties.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Georgia.
