About EFTPS

The Treasury Department is requiring all Federal tax deposits to be made using the Electronic Federal Tax Deposit System (EFTPS) beginning January 1, 2011.  We recommend that you register at the link below as soon as possible, as there is a three to four week delay in receiving your PIN number, which allows you to use EFTPS.

March 14, 2011   Turn in personal data to Z&A to file by April 15
March 15, 2011   Corporate returns or extensions due / Calendar year corporations
April 15, 2011   Individual, partnership returns or extensions are due
April 15, 2011   First 2009 estimated payment due
May 2, 2011   First quarterly payroll returns and pay taxes due
June 15, 2011   Second 2009 estimated payment - all entities due
August 1, 2011   Second quarterly payroll returns and pay taxes due
September 15, 2011   Corporate and partnership returns due - final deadline, Calendar Year
September 15, 2011   Third 2009 estimated payment - all entities due
September 21, 2011   Turn in personal data to Z&A (if extension was filed) to file without 
penalty
October 17, 2011   Personal returns - final deadline
October 31, 2011   Third quarterly payroll returns and pay taxes due
December 15, 2011   Corporations - Fourth quarter estimate due
December 30, 2011   Last day to open KEOGH account for 2011 deposits
